The DEFRANCESCHI group is pleased to present the x-tri
optical sorting line. The development is the result of the collaboration
with the company PROTEC, active since 1991 in the field of selection,
equipped with optical sensor.
The x-tri line is composed of destemmer,
vibrating feeding table and optical unit. Elevator belts might be needed
to compensate different heights. The optical unit is manufactured by
PROTEC, but the distribution in the wine world is an exclusive of
DEFRANCESCHI group (excluding the United States of America).
Operation x-tri: the berries on the outlet
from the destemmer are spread on the vibrating feeding table and from
there on the belt of the optical unit. The optical sensor recognizes the
defects (vegetal elements, insects and foreign bodies) and actuates the
ejecting system (air nozzles). The clean product is transferred into the
crusher for further processing. The optical system can also recognized
unmature berries (different color) and eject them with the other defects.
The defects to be eliminated can be set trough the
use interface. The x-tri line can work up to approx. 15 t/h. This
capacity depends on the grape variety, maturity and quantity of defects.
The setup was extensively tested during last
harvest in Italy and France. Excellent results were achieved with
different varietals at Château Reillanne (Le Cannet des Maures, France),
Château Mont-Redon (Châteauneuf-du-pape cédex 1, France) and Ruffino -
Tenuta La Solatia (Monteriggioni, Italy).
During next SITEVI at Montpellier, France (1-3
december 2009) the x-tri will be presented on the DEFRANCESCHI AMOS
stand (Hall 234, n° 234 F 078)
